How To Save Web Pages & Articles To Your Email Using EmailThis

After you install our browser extension, you can use EmailThis in the following ways -

Found an interesting article but don't have time to read it now?

When you find an interesting article, click the Email This button. Email This will extract the main text and images from that article (it removes ads and distractions) and sends you a nice email that you can read later.

Email This comes with a nifty keyboard shortcut to make saving web pages easier.
Hit Ctrl + Shift + U (on Windows/Linux) or Command ⌘ + Shift + U (on Mac) to activate Email This and send the current page via email.

Right-click on a link and choose "Email This" to save the contents of that link. Similarly, right-click anywhere on a page to save the current page via email.

Works on mobiles & tablets as well!

You can use Email This easily from your mobile or tablet devices. Simply tap the address bar and type "Email This". Click the option that starts with "javascript://". That's it!

Step 1. Install our browser extension or add our bookmarklet to your browser's Bookmark's Bar.

A quick note, some browsers might have the Bookmarks Bar hidden by default. You can show the Bookmarks Bar by using the following keyboard shortcuts -

Mac

Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer (IE) or Edge browsers: Command + Shift + B
Firefox: Command + B

PC:

Firefox: Control + B


Step 2. When you come across interesting articles or web pages, click your EmailThis bookmark

That's it! Now EmailThis will remove ads & distractions from that web page, extract useful content and send you an email. You can open that email and read it whenever you want.

Using Email This from your phone just got a lot easier. You can now save articles to your email without installing any additional apps or bookmarklets. The following steps are applicable for both Chrome & Firefox browsers.

  1. Tap the "More" icon at the top-right corner.
  2. Tap the "Share" option. Then choose Gmail (or any other email app).
  3. Send the email to [email protected].
    That's it!. In a couple of minutes, you'll get a beautifully formatted email from us with the content & images from that page. You can then read it whenever you want.

From other apps (e.g: Medium, News apps), tap the "Share" button and then tap the "Email" option. After that, just enter "[email protected]" in the the To field and send us the email.


Alternately, you can also install our Bookmarklet to the web browser in your Android mobile.
